How it works
BodyTite is a minimally invasive lipolysis treatment and is perfect for anyone who wants to achieve more dramatic results without a more invasive and costly surgery.
Unlike our other fat reduction or body sculpting treatments, BodyTite is a minimally-invasive surgical procedure that takes place at our Albany, OR office under a local anesthetic.
BodyTite is a state-of-the-art, radiofrequency-assisted lipolysis (RFAL) system, providing surgery-like body tightening and contouring results with only a couple of small incision points. The best candidates are healthy adults with moderate skin laxity and within 30% of their ideal weight. If you are pregnant, breastfeeding, have an autoimmune disease, or have a skin disease, consider alternative treatments.
To perform this treatment, we create a small incision in the skinーwhich will often not require stitches nor form a scar. Dr. Levitt will insert a small cannula (a thin tube) into the skin, delivering radiofrequency (RF) energy to tighten the skin and liquefy fat. We remove liquefied fat through the cannula while causing no damage to surrounding tissues.

What to expect
During the treatment, we inject a combination of local anesthetic (for pain control) and epinephrine (to decrease bleeding and facilitate fat removal) into the target area.
This causes the fat to swell and harden, which assists in its removal. Over time, the fat will dissolve and leave the body by natural means. Simultaneously, the skin will tighten as we remove the fat. BodyTite stands out from the crowd of other body contouring techniques because of its dual approach to fat removal and skin tightening.
Following treatment, patients feel sore and tender, with some swelling or bruising.
Plan to take one to two weeks off low-impact activities, with a return to regular activities within a couple of weeks.
You will see some results immediately, though you’ll see optimal results within 3 months.
Results will continuously improve over 12 months; as long as you maintain your weight, results can last years!

FAQ
Ideal candidates for the BodyTite procedure are those who are healthy with normal body weight, but have areas of fat or loose skin that are resistant to diet or exercise. They must have realistic expectations regarding the results.
The BodyTite radiofrequency assisted liposuction (RFAL) procedure carries considerably fewer risks and complications compared to conventional liposuction methods. Patients may experience minor swelling, soreness, and bruising following the procedure, but all these complications are minimal and resolve on their own.
For most patients, one treatment per body area is all that is normally required.
If you maintain your weight within 5 to 10 pounds, your BodyTite results can last for years or may even be permanent.
